I. Training Seminar Objectives
At the end of the training seminar, the participants will be able to:
- Discuss the issues and challenges of international migration on migrants and their families;
- Describe how to manage the cases of migrants and their families visiting the One Stop Migration Resource Center (OSMRC);
- Enumerate the functions of front-line staff of the One Stop Migration Resource Center;
- Identify the various government agencies’ and NGOs’ programs and services for overseas Filipinos and their families; and
- Design a referral network among the government, NGOs, faith-based organizations and other migration stakeholders working with overseas Filipinos.
II. Target Participants
The target participants of the training of case managers are the following:
- Staff of provincial, city and municipal government agencies providing services for overseas Filipinos and families
- Leaders of migrant and family organizations
- Staff of development NGOs and faith based organizations
- Teachers of public and private schools
